The program, run by Cowra Early Childhood Services, will provide the community with out of school hours care and is due to commence in time for the upcoming Christmas school holiday with their vacation care program.
Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke said she was pleased that the Gooloogong community will now have access to the service.
"I'm very proud of this initiative because it really supports working families - it will allow more students to have safe, fun environments before and after school and during vacation periods, and for their parents to have the flexibility to participate in the workforce," Ms Cooke said.
"The new BASC program will operate out of the school hall, located on the North Western side of the school premises on the corner of King and Cowra Streets. The service will be providing before school, after school, school development days and vacation care services to the Gooloogong Community."

"The establishment of a before and after school care and vacation care service at Gooloogong Public School is a real win for all families in and around Gooloogong," Mr Doyle said.
CECS Director Diane Clark said CECS is delighted to be able to expand their services to meet the needs of the Gooloogong community.
"We look forward to providing fun, relaxing and flexible programs, that are reflective of the interests and needs of the school age children we will deliver our OOSH education and care curriculum to," Ms Clark added.
Minister for Education Sarah Mitchell said she was delighted to see the launch of the BASC services program happening at Gooloogong Public School, as this is an important program that will benefit many families in the region.
The provider has commenced staff recruitment, which will also provide the local community with new job opportunities.
The BASC Program at Gooloogong Public School is part of the $120 million investment over four years to expand access to Out of School Hours Care for public primary school children across NSW.
