The cases are the first to be reported in Cowra Shire since early this month.
There were seven new cases of COVID-19 identified in the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD).
Two of the cases were in Wellington, three in Cowra, one in Walgett and one in Orange.
Four cases have been identified as household contacts of previous cases.
The other three cases have been identified as otherwise linked to previous cases.
In total, there has been 1609 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in WNSWLHD.
NSW recorded 304 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Tuesday.
One new case was acquired overseas, and 10 cases have been excluded following further investigation. The total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic is 74,163.
Sadly NSW Health reported three deaths.
