There were mostly trade lambs penned along with some stores, while the heavy weights were in reduced supply.
All the buyers were operating except for a couple and competition eased to see prices soften.
Light new season lambs to the processors averaged $203 while stores sold from $170 to $204, down $3/head.
Medium and heavy trade weight new season lambs were $4 to $7/head cheaper and averaged from 900c to 905c/kg cwt.
The heavy trade weight 23 to 24kg lambs sold from $214 to $230/head.
Heavy weight new season lambs were $5 to $8/head cheaper and averaged from 885c to 900c/kg cwt.
The heavy weights sold from $234 to $239 while the extra heavy weight lambs sold from $244 to $270/head.
Mutton numbers lifted and quality varied throughout.
Heavy first cross ewes eased $30 and sold from $144 to $166/head or 500c to 515c/kg cwt.
Heavy Merino ewes were only $3 cheaper and sold from $162 to $191/head or 615c/kg cwt.
