Ms Kiss, who founded CCP under the auspice of Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre (CINC) following the stillbirth of her daughter Chance, said this year volunteers had created Keepsake Heart Pairs to be included in their Baby Bereavement Packs.
"Every September our Chance's Clothes Project volunteers from around the world contribute to one specific challenge - called an Itty Bitty Giant Drive," she said.
"In previous years, our crafters have donated little hats and bonnets, and keepsakes, this year we created Keepsake Heart Pairs.
"[These are] identical keepsakes where one may be wrapped in baby's blankets and the other kept for mum and dad to hold.
"It is important that these are matching pairs, to provide that extra link when the time comes for baby to leave their parents arms forever.
"These are included in our CCP Baby Bereavement Packs, which contain a burial gown, bonnets, booties, nappy, blanket and light-weight wrap."
Mailed to CCP at the end of September, the group's 70 volunteers from Australia, the UK, USA and Singapore tallied a total of 5352 hearts for the day on October 15.
Ms Kiss said six babies were born stillborn every day in Australia, with their Baby Bereavement Packs going to 177 hospitals across the nation.
"In Australia up to one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage, every year around 11,000 Australians have a miscarriage, 2200 more endure the pain of stillbirth, 600 lose their baby in the first 28 days after birth and many more face the grief of termination for medical reasons," she said.
"Over 35 hospitals have requested our support more than once and each month this increases, indicating that more hospitals are coming to rely on our CCP packs as a part of their still-birthing process.
"CCP owes its success to the love and dedication of all its volunteers, thank you for making this happen."
