Braddon's Blazing Lisa ($1.80) finished in first just under a length ahead of Carla's Magic ($8.60) in second place.
Meeka's Charm ($2.80) ran third six lengths ahead of Swift Kevin ($30.50) trained by Graham Pickering.
Blazing Lisa was the first leg of a winning double for the Braddon kennel with Benny Bow scoring later in the night as a $2.90 favourite, making it back to back wins around the Dawson Park circuit.
Arrie A Blaze was successful for Paul Braddon at Bathurst on Friday recording its 17th win in a 53 start career.
Only fairly away from the inside box Arrie A Blaze drove through to take the lead and proved too strong for the Darren Wort trained Freeway Lass to win by one length.
Wort made up for any disappointment of the minor placing when Rare Talent made it two from two in the final event on the card as a $1.40 favourite.
Following on from her first up maiden victory in similar fashion Rare Talent exploded out of the boxes to lead easily running a very fast 17.63 for the 307 metre journey, just shy of the 17.62 recorded by Arrie A Blaze.
Cowra will trial again on Sunday at 9am. Bookings no later than 6pm Saturday to Rod McDonald 0408204654 on a first in basis.
