Six thousand three hundred new season lambs were yarded this week from a total yarding of 6910 lambs and 450 sheep.
The majority were trade types while the heavy weights were in reduced supply as were the old lamb grades.
Restocking lambs increased in number and all the buyers were present but a couple were not active. Competition was slightly softer resulting in an easing of prices.

Medium and heavy trade weight new season lambs were $6 to $8/head cheaper and averaged from 925c to 940c/kg cwt.
The heavy 23 to 24kg trade weights sold from $215 to $235/head.
Heavy weight new season lambs were $5 to $10/head cheaper and averaged from 905c to 915c/kg cwt. Heavy weights sold from $237 to $250 while extra heavy weight lambs sold from $257 to $270/head.
