Messy Play Play-Doh
Messy imaginative fun!
Each child will be given an amount of play-doh for their session and will not share kits unless with a sibling.
At the of the session, each child will take home their creation.
This will be held on Monday, September 20 between 10.30am and 11.30am for children aged 3 to 7.
A maximum of 10 kids will be able to take part.
Make your own Book Bags
Create your own tote bag - perfect for books! No sewing required!
This will be held on Wednesday, September 22 between 10.30am and 11.30am and is open to children of all ages.
A maximum of 12 kids can take part.
Lego Squad
Let your imagination define the universe! A fun, Bricktastic adventure with the theme travel!
Please book one session only - either 10.30am till 11.30am or 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Friday, September 24.
This is for a maximum of 12 children in each session aged six years and over.
Tangrams
Come on down to the Creative Station and discover Tangrams.
Get creative with shapes, colours and geometry.
What will you create to take home?
This will be held on Monday, September 27 between 10.30am and 11.30am for a maximum of 10 children aged between five and 10 years.
Mug Cakes
Bring your own mug for this delicious homemade treat using our new microwave. All ingredients and recipe supplied.
This will be held on Wednesday, September 29 between 10.30am and 11.30am for 10 children between the ages of five and 15 years.
STEM Studio
We will be having hands-on fun with e-stuff!
Makey is a simplified motherboard that can be programmed to play games and music using a variety of objects such as apples, bananas, water, play-doh and humans.
This will be held on Friday, October 1 between 3.30pm and 4.30pm for children aged seven and above.
Separate bookings must be made for each child attending and children under the age of 12 will need to be signed in and out by a parent/guardian/authorised adult.
Participants must adhere to COVID-19 NSW Public Health Orders while at the library:
- If your child is sick, please do not attend, as they could endanger all Library visitors.
- Spaces are limited. If you cannot attend please cancel via Eventbrite or call us so your spot can be offered to those on the waitlist.
- Hand sanitisers must be used upon entry.
- Physical distancing guidelines of 1.5m must be respected.
- Participants who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave the session by Library staff.
This activity is only available to participants who live within the Cowra Local Government Area.
You must not travel from a locked down LGA for these events.
Cowra Library has opened back up following the lifting of stay-at-home orders and is open between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 12 noon on Saturday.
