During July, members of the Upper Lachlan Bushwalkers (ULBW) enjoyed a number of outdoor activities, including the views from Bendick Murrell lookouts, witnessing the white waters spilling over Koorawatha Falls, and looking through the historic Abercrombie House, followed by sharing a delightful high tea.

Due to the current cold and wet weather conditions, as well as the forever-present restrictions due to the COVID pandemic, we have decided to limit our number of planned walks for the month of August.
Having said that, please be ready for emails of 'short notice' walks when better weather is forecast (walks may be mid-week).
These walks may include the Glen Logan Silo area, Gem Road to Farleigh Beach and Cowra Heritage Town Walk, to name a few.
Otherwise, our couple of planned walks are:
Sunday, August 15
A return walk from the Visitors Centre to the Friendship Flags on Boorowa Road, via the vineyards.
13km, easy grade.
Morning tea at the flags, possibly lunch back at the Rose Gardens.

Sunday, August 29
Mt Dananbilla Nature Reserve, south of Crowther.
8km, hard grade, off track.

- All planned walks will leave from the Cowra Visitors Centre carpark on Sunday at 9am, unless otherwise informed
