Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles and homes following a number of recent break ins.

Police have urging residents in the community to make sure their vehicles are locked and secured, and valuables are not left inside cars,.
Police report a box trailer was stolen between Tuesday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 28 from a premises on Redfern Street, Cowra.
The trailer was green in colour with the registration number TB44NY.
In another incident police said around 5am on July 28, a large amount of cash and personal items were stolen during a break and enter in a residence on Bulkhead Road in West Cowra.
According to police, residents of the home were home at the time of the theft.
The residents saw three males running from the location.
In addition to the break in the thieves attempted to steal a vehicle but couldn't get it passed the locked gate.
Police say the have also been reports of vehicles being rummaged through and attempts to gain entry to various homes in Taragala Street, Cowra late last month.
Police also report break and enters across the district where in most instances entry has been gained through an unlocked door or window.
If you are broken into police are advising to report and do not touch any surfaces until a forensic examination has been conducted.
