This means the Cowra Eagles move on to face Dubbo Kangaroos at Dubbo this weekend.
With both sides sitting at one win apiece in the season, the Kangaroos 26-20 winners in Round 4 and the Eagles 51-10 winners in Round 9, this weekend's game can set up the Eagles for a chance to pip the minor premiership when they face Emus next weekend.
Eagles coach Colin Kilby said his players were looking forward to taking to the field again.
"With the round cancellation last weekend and the general bye the week before, there's been two weeks off and everyone is keen to get back on the park," he said.
"I'd always expect Dubbo to put in a strong performance at home, but we're confident we've been building enough we'll get the points up there.
"But we're not going up there expecting it to come without putting in the hard work."
After the side had a year off in 2020, he said the team was pleased with how well their 2021 campaign was going.
"We're sitting pretty close, four points behind Emus, so our aim is to be giving ourselves the opportunity to be playing off for that top spot in the last round," he said.
So we are preparing as well as we can and we are building well towards finals.
- Colin Kilby
"We've been doing a lot of work and the players really bought in and took control in the pre-season.
"The early part of the season we were probably a little bit inconsistent, which can be expected from the year off.
"But we feel we've built well and set goals as the year's gone on and we've been achieving those.
"We were still able to train last week, so we still got those sessions in and had a session on Saturday which was very productive.
"So we are preparing as well as we can and we are building well towards finals."
Kilby said the club is looking forward to celebrating a number of players who are about to hit milestone matches in the coming weeks.
"It's always exciting to celebrate that (milestone matches), so we'll look to put in a good performance and celebrate those guys putting that work in.
"Within the side we will note that, but the main celebrations will be next week at home.
"We battled through injuries at the mid part of the season and we've all but got back to full squads, both with first and second grade.
"So we'll go up there with two strong sides both looking to come away with a win."
In the weekend's other games Orange City will host Orange Emus and the Bathurst Bulldogs will host Forbes Platypi.
