The markets, run by Cowra Community Chest, will next be held on Saturday, June 19 from 8am to 12pm.
Mel Barlow from Cowra Community Chest said the markets would have needed to move from the Cowra Showground in September and October due to availability issues.
"We wouldn't have been here September and October, we just said 'ok, let's just do it from now'," she said.
"We were planning on maybe coming over here next year, we just brought it forward."
Ms Barlow said the Chest were excited about the move, believing Sid Kallas Oval will provide the markets with plenty of visibility from traffic passing by.
"They will be able to drive straight through the gate, there will be a parking area off the road, which is going to be nice and safe and then you've got the stalls along the Young Road and around towards Lyall Street," she said.
"Depending on how many stalls we get, we could end up going all the way around there."
She said the move has received plenty of support from Cowra Council, Cowra Magpies Rugby League Club and the stallholders themselves.
"Everyone is wanting to work with us and make sure it's successful," she said.
"Council have been brilliant. I'm blown away by the support we are getting from the council, from Rod McDonald and from Marc McLeish.
"From all the stallholders that I've spoken to so far, I have not had one negative response, everyone is happy."
