District play

The big news of the week is that our bowler Dawn Dye defeated Liz Burns in the final of the CWD District Singles.

She played a wonderful match and she most definitely deserved her win.

Such a feather in her cap. We were all thrilled when the news came through.

Pennant play

Our ladies also played in the Pennant No 4s and defeated Manildra/Molong on April 6 at Manildra.

They took on Orange City on April 8 at home in Cowra. Results next week.

Cowra also won the Pennant No 2s against all other teams in the district.

They will now go to the regional playoffs at West Dubbo on July 12.

Such a busy time for all our ladies.

COVID affected bowls dramatically and we are now all trying to catch up on missed games and competitions.

Good luck to all our district players as we have some postponed games to catch up with.
