Police seeking information on trespassers

Police from Cowra are investigating ongoing trespassing offences at a property on Mt Eagle Road, Morongla.

The landholder has reported multiple incidents of persons trespassing on the property, near the homestead at night over the last few weeks.

They had seen torches on the property and heard vehicles. If anyone in the area has any information about these incidents, please contact Cowra Police on 6341 5099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Stolen motor vehicle

Police report a vehicle has been stolen from a Wellington Street address between 9.30am on February 20, and 3am on February 21. The vehicle was taken from under the carport with a spare set of keys in the console.

A wallet was also in the vehicle and the victim's bank card was used at several locations around town. Police are hopeful that CCTV will identify the offender.

Theft from a business

Police report that an unknown person has forced entry to a motorcycle business in Cowra around 3.57am on February 20, in an attempt to steal a trail bike. When that wasn't possible, two chainsaws were stolen. An image of the offender has been captured on CCTV.

Break and enter

Police report a storage shed, belonging to a church in Darling Street, has been broken into.

At this stage no confirmation of stolen property has been received. The incident occurred sometime over the weekend.

Theft

Police report the Salvation Army Store in Cowra has been broken into, with a quantity of toys were stolen.

The theft occurred between February 10 and February 15.
