On Wednesday, December 23, the four winning properties and the best street were announced via the Cowra Christmas Festival Facebook page.
Cowra Tourism Assistant Manager, Kurt Overzet, said the competition had been a great way for the township and its villages to celebrate the festive season.
"It's been incredible to see so much support and engagement from our amazing community throughout last year's Cowra Christmas Festival Program," he said.
"It's been a difficult year for so many, just being able to bring the community together and give them something to look forward to and marvel at through this competition has been so rewarding for us here at Cowra Tourism.
"I want to thank all our entrants who have put on such an incredible display for the community's enjoyment, the hundreds who voted for the People's Choice Award, and of course, Cowra Shire Council who kindly donated the $5,000 for the competition prize pool."
The winning houses and best street were determined by a panel of three judges, with points awarded for appeal, originality and overall presentation.
The People's Choice Award, sponsored by Cowra Bunnings was awarded to the house that received the most votes through the Visit Cowra website between December 20 to December 22.
