While their opening round clash may have been a draw, this weekend's match between Bowling Club and Valleys' second grade sides was anything but close.

Valleys walked away 138-run winners, with their batsmen putting on a masterclass and their bowlers putting the opposition to the sword.
Valleys captain, Tom Lamond, said the match had been his side's best performance of the year.
"It was our first all round team effort today," he said.
"The batters really set us up today, we were looking at 130 being a good score but to get 210 was definitely a huge advantage.
"It gave the bowlers something to bowl within and they did their job again.
"They (Valleys bowlers) have been our strength this year so it was good to see our batting be the strength this week."
Lamond praised Jackson Moodie and Jarod Mason for their efforts with the bat as well as all his bowlers.
He said he hoped his side could replicate this week's performance when they faced Burrangong next weekend.
"Our biggest thing is we haven't played this Young team yet, they could be anything," he said.
"But going off results, I think they are going to be pretty similar to us.
"They are equal first with us so it will be very interesting to see how we go against them.
"If we play the way we played today, we should be a fair chance of rolling them."
For his part, Bowling Club captain Paul Basham said he was proud of the effort his side's youngest players had given.
"Most of the scoring especially today was from the two youngest and it's good to see the tail order can do something," he said.
"Three of our top bowlers are under 20 so there's plenty of young talent around.
"With the position we were in, we shouldn't have gotten to where we did really, and it was those young fellers who got us there.
"So the future is good for us we just need a few of the older fellers to do a bit more."
Basham said despite the result his side were well placed to play good cricket.
"It hasn't been too bad, we still have a lot of players out but we have a bit to work with," he said.
"The things we have to work on are our batting and catches, our bowling hasn't been to bad.
"There's been patches where it's all over the place but most of it has been pretty good, it's just the batters going after it.
"They've just been unlucky and there's not much you can do."
In the weekend's other game, Burrangong Bears took a 37-run victory over Morongla.
