VICTORIA'S COVID-19 NUMBERS FOR OCTOBER 18

* No deaths, leaving the state toll at 816 and national figure at 904

* Two new cases - one linked to a known case and another under investigation

* 14-day rolling case average is 7.5 for Melbourne and 0.5 for regional Victoria

* 15 mystery cases in Melbourne for the fortnight to Thursday and none for regional Victoria

* 137 active cases in the state, including seven in regional Victoria - four in Mitchell Shire and three in greater Shepparton

* 12 people in hospital, none in ICU

* 11 active cases involving healthcare workers

* 10 active cases linked to aged care

* 2,944,356 tests have been conducted since the pandemic outbreak and 18,546 in the latest 24-hour period

SHEPPARTON OUTBREAK

* No increase on the three cases announced earlier last week

* 283 tests taken on Saturday, 6079 in total across the Shepparton region

AGED CARE OUTBREAKS

* 3 active cases linked to Estia Aged Care Facility Keilor (total cases 52)

* 3 Uniting Age Well Preston (5)

OTHER OUTBREAKS

* 11 active cases linked to the Chadstone Shopping Centre (total cases 38)

* 9 Melbourne's southeastern community (9)

POLICE FINES

* 89 new fines issued, including 12 for failing to wear a face mask and 22 at vehicle checkpoints

* Fines include three women who sought to gather and draw henna tattoos at a property in Whitehorse, six people caught attending a party in Moonee Valley

RESTRICTIONS FROM MONDAY

* No time limit for exercise and outdoor social activities

* 5km restriction on travel widened to 25km

* The number of people able to gather outdoors increased from five to 10, from two households

* Sports fans will be allowed to play tennis and golf, without entering clubrooms. Skate parks reopen and outdoor swimming pools can have 30 swimmers

* Hairdressers to reopen

* Real estate auctions can occur with a maximum of 10 people, commercial real estate inspections can occur

* Outdoor home maintenance, repairs and renovations permitted with maximum of five workers.
