Rocky John Lee Collett, 51, of Taragala Street, who failed to appear before Cowra Local Court, was charged with custody of knife in a public place.
According to the police facts, around 3.30pm on August 28, 2020, police observed Collett with a long, metal pipe in his right hand.
Collett was unable to give police a clear, reasonable explanation for the possession of the pipe.
Police could also see a chrome knife in is left hand, which was 33cm in length and similar to a large kitchen knife.
Collett was then subjected to a search.
When he removed items from his pockets, a further knife was produced, which was a 20cm long red paring knife.
When asked why he had knives in his possession in a public place, Collett said "I was taking them home to my missus".
Collett was convicted in absence and the weapons were fortified.
