Now is the perfect time to pick up a camera and snap our feathered friends with the Archibird Prize photography competition now open for its second year.
Last year's inaugural competition was hailed as a resounding success, with 133 entries.
Cowra's Natural Resource Management Committee (NRM) are raising awareness of the positive roles native birds play in the region.
"This competition is helping to support their survival," Cowra NRM member John Rankin said last year.
"Our hope is that the greater Cowra community sees the importance of fallen logs, dead trees, old trees with developed hollows and connectivity to water sources to ensure native birds continue to survive."
To enter the competition, you must like and follow the Cowra Natural Resource Management Committee Facebook page by searching for Cowra NRM.
Send your photos via Facebook messenger or email them to cowra.nrm@outlook.com
Entrants are allowed to submit 10 photos per person per category.
