Led out by Marc Hyland, who capped his 250th appearance in the navy blue, the Blues were dominant and controlled most of the play through their midfield and forwards, so much so that they took the first break leading 5-6-36 to the Outlaws 0-1-1 and it only continued from there.
The home side enjoyed 68 point lead at the half, with Bathurst only managing to score another behind by the break, which blew out to an 111 point lead at the end of the third quarter.
The only time the Blues looked troubled was during the final stanza, when one of the Outlaws forwards broke away and looked like scoring their first goal.
However it wasn't to be, with the kick leaving the boot awkwardly and only managing a behind.
Hyland said it was a fitting end to the side's regular season fixture.
"It was pretty good, a lot of shots on goal, I missed one myself but I made up for it and I think Thomas Thuaux kicked about seven goals," he said.
"It's definitely how we wanted to finish, now we can fine tune a few things at training and make sure we are ready to go for the big day."
He said the whole squad had earned the win.
"It was a full team effort, Tommy may have kicked seven goals but he wasn't getting the ball to himself," he said.
"All 16 men plus the bench, they got in there and did their roles, so it's good to have a team run in the last game of the season."
With a bye in the last week Hyland said the men were keen to support the women in their final round.
"We're looking forward to the women's game next week," he said.
"Hopefully they can get a win on the board for the final game of the season.
"I think they are due for one, they've had a good solid run all year, it would be nice to see them finish with a win.
"Sarah is the senior men's coach as well, we get around them as much as we can with a lot of them getting around us, so it's good."
Men's co-coach Chris Day said the side's ball movement and delivery inside 50 had made the work easy for the forwards.
He said the side would now focus on their finals preparation.
"There's not much to work on, it's just tightening everything up," he said.
"Working on skills at training and getting a bit more running in the legs of the boys, working on the way we want to play.
"We're through to the grand final now and Parkes will play Rebels, so we'll wait to see who wins that and plan accordingly in that last week before the grand final."
Bathurst Outlaws coach Tony Lewis said despite the scoreline his side put in 100 per cent.
"Anytime you get beat by 140 odd points is not a good day but my guys are a very inexperienced side," he said.
"We came over here with not a lot of expectation of winning the game but they fought it out and tried as hard as they could and that's all I can ask.
"Cowra is a good side, an experienced side and they'll go close to winning the comp given they are in the grand final now, so I'm happy with what we did.
"Win, lose or draw it's about getting out there and playing footy on a Saturday afternoon."
