While the threat of wet weather loomed over the weekend, plenty of golfers from across the Central West took part in this year's Cowra Open.

111 players competed during the course of the weekend, with this year's competition taken out by Stuart Nelson from Lynwood, ahead of Duntryleague's Robert Payne.
Cowra Golf Club Pro Tom Perfect said there's only a short delay due to weather on the Sunday morning.
"The 2020 Cowra Open went off with only a minimal delay for the start of round 2 on Sunday," he said.
"Thank you to everyone for their patience yesterday morning, we were relieved the weather broke and we could get the field underway.
"Thank you to all of the players for braving the conditions on Sunday to complete the 2 rounds."
Joel Conron proved to be the best of the local golfers, winning the B Grade competition in a playoff with Jim Laycock.
Cowra was also represented in the C Grade, with Zane Southwell taking out the competition.
In the nett results, Cowra's Paul Jones took out A Grade ahead of fellow local Steve Johnstone.
Andrew Grogan narrowly edged out Squeak Thompson in B Grade while Cowra's Warwick Spence took out the C Grade Competition.
In the Ladies' competition, Wendy Lynch was on top of the scratch placings, while Helen Moriarty, last year's champion, was on top of the nett results.
