Everyone has been affected by the COVID-19 restrictions, as has the Cowra Art Group, however all the groups have now recommenced operations albeit in a constrained manner with no more than 11 members in the room as required.

This includes a recent committee meeting held in lieu of a general meeting to discuss pressing business and future plans.
Consequently, the Cowra Art Group AGM will now be held in an alternate venue and members should note that it will now take place in the Cowra Services Club at 1pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

As numbers and names are required by the Services Club so that the appropriate arrangements can be made, members planning to attend should place their names on the form available in the art room by Friday, July 24.

The Craft and Patchworkers have celebrated returning by combining for a display which now can be seen in the Visitors Centre for the month of July.
Members have been busy during the two months in isolation and have some lovely and useful items on show, including Wendy Langhorne's beautiful cushion featuring the "foundation piecing" pineapple design that was the subject of a workshop conducted since returning by member Maxine Bunnik and attended by eight patchworkers.
The Monday artists have successfully trialed operating with two sessions on Mondays so that the numbers in attendance can be managed.
They have been working on an exhibition in the Canowindra Art Gallery which will be open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a month.
The gallery can be found adjacent to the library halfway along the main street in Canowindra.
Spinners have enjoyed being able to come back and gather again at the CAG room over the last two weeks.
With spinning, dyeing, knitting and crochet being part of their COVID lockdown creative process, some members finished off projects and started new ones with fantastic outcomes.
A few of the finished articles or works in progress have been brought along to "show and tell".
