Cowra Bowling Club manager, Marc Eisenhauer and Cowra Bowling Club President, Norm Egan handed over a check for $1460 to the unit on Monday morning.
Mr Eisenhauer said the money was raised earlier this year during a head shave event featuring Allan Langer and Trevor Gillmeister.
"$730 was raised through the members and we matched it dollar for dollar," he said.
"It was in January... the bushfires were still going on so it was still that vibe of helping out the firies.
"Even though we've been closed, we are still in a position to help, we're still moving forward."
Jason Ambachtsheer from Waugoola RFS said the donation would be going towards much needed equipment for the volunteers.
"We greatly appreciate the donation from the community to help us out," he said.
"Most of it will go towards buying new gear for our trucks, hoses, sometimes we buy gear for ourselves out of it and all the support from the community is greatly appreciated."
Mr Eisenhauer said the club would continue to help support local groups and supporting organisations through COVID-19.
