The mother and daughter combination of Kylie McDonald and Pamela Braddon celebrated a quinella in the feature event at last Friday's Dubbo greyhound meeting.

The McDonald trained Fusion Crumble ($2.30) held out her mother's Pip's Delight ($2.40) by three quarters of a length to take out the Ladbrokes 5th Grade Series Final in 18.36 seconds.

Well tried from box 2 Fusion Crumble got the better of Pip's Delight (box 1) at the jump to lead throughout recording its fifth win from 15 starts.

The Wes McDonald trained Volcano Fusion was never a chance, finishing fifth after bungling the start.

Fusion Crumble's win was the start of a good night for the McDonald's and the first leg of a winning double for Kylie who finished one two with kennel mates Fusion Fugitive and Fusion Split later in the evening.

Husband Wesley's Fernado Fusion was one of the meeting's most impressive winners, returning to winning form recording a four and a three quarter length wins in the Dubbo RSL Club stakes over 318 metres.

Heavilly supported late Fernado Fusion ($6.20) got the spoils from Ronnie Keeping ($13.80) with the Paul Braddon trained favourite Flaming Fury ($2.40) in third place.

Pamela Braddon's Meeka's Charm (3.20) made a winning debut earlier in the evening in a very good time of 18.45 over 318 metres for a debutante.
