A decision has been made by Racing NSW to shift the meeting from Toompang Racecourse on Saturday, May 16 to Thursday, May 21 and at Wagga Riverside.
The meeting has been upgraded to a Sky2 meeting and the Young Cup feature will remain on the six race program.
All races will carry $12,000 prizemoney and some supporting races will have alterations in distances and format.
The decision was made after Racing NSW stewards visited Toompang Racecourse and noted that the site does not meet Racing NSW's new coronavirus bio-security standards.
The club hopes to be able to plan an event later in the year to toast the 100th year of the Young Cup.
The first Young Cup was held on Wednesday, April 28, 1920 and carried 30 pounds prizemoney.
It was won by a five-year-old mare Blanny, owned by Mr W Cordingly, of Young, and trained by Mr WT Cook.
