Bowling Club staff will be assisting Cowra/Grenfell Meals on Wheels (MOW) with cooking and delivery, while also checking on vulnerable members.
Cowra Bowling Club General Manager Marc Eisenhauer said the arrangement means they will not be forced to let staff go.
"All the permanents will be retained permanently and all the casuals will be working 16 hours a week," he said.
"The kitchen staff are cooking the meals and our casual staff are out there delivering the meals. We will also be out there checking on all our vulnerable members on a constant basis, making sure the health and safety at all times is adhered to... it's just a conversation through a door,
"We will go and get any grocery needs, any medicines, anything they need, we will go and get it for them."
He said clubs have always been there for the community during tough times.
"I know why we're here... it's to look after people," Mr Eisenhauer said.
"We're struggling through bushfires, through drought, clubs are always there for everyone as a safe haven and we just want to continue to do that."
Cowra/Grenfell Meals on Wheels Service Manager, Denise Makin called on others to use this time to consider volunteering.
"I can't thank them [the Bowling Club] enough, it's great to see young people stepping up," she said.
