Money raised at the April street stall is used for Australian Research into the use of Cord Blood to help save lives.
However, this year there will be a donation from our Cowra Inner Wheel funds.
Our Friendship Club is a Service Club that has provided catering for the Red Radials Fly In, The Raffle of a Free Flight with Flyoz and hosting the official Cowra Australia Day Morning Tea.
The March meeting had a fun theme "Bring an old Bag".
Members enjoyed sharing with us the history of their special old bag, some worn as an accessory as their "going away outfit", or a family heirloom, or made for a special occasion.
The pantry items that had been brought for the Cord Blood Giant Hamper raffle, now cancelled, will be donated to a local charity, by Cowra Cord Blood Coordinator, Beverley Bundy.
Another date will be set for the Friendship Day originally scheduled in April at "Bellmore" home of member and A50 District Chairman, Anne Holloway .

These cancellations are our cautious response to the present guideline of social distancing.
This seems to be the correct and caring course for us to take.
We wish the community of Cowra, particularly those most vulnerable, freedom from risk and a healthy outcome in this present Covid-19 pandemic.
We rely on the responsibility of each member of our community to keep us safe.
This crisis impacts everyone.
