Local musician Lusi Austin created the Facebook page "Cowra Come Together During Corona" last week in order to start a "caring revolution" in Cowra.
"I had seen a few people posting on Facebook about some services that were changing and also of people who were in short supply of items and thought that we probably needed a page to help connect people who were in need with people who were able to help in some way," she said.
"There was a lot of coverage of stories in the general media about people acting greedily with a real mentality of just looking out for oneself.
"I've seen Cowra as a community of individuals that can respond in better ways than this so thought I'd create the page to call Cowra to a caring-revolution. And Cowra really answered that call."
Lusi said the response has been incredible.
"We had people immediately offer up items like toilet paper, nappies, baby wipes and other non perishable goods to those in need," she said.
"Businesses commented about their flexible trading arrangements and we had people share stories of kindness too of community members paying for grocery items."

The page also sparked an idea to have drop off and collections point in town, which are located at Brother Fox Barbershop and The Salon Collective.
"Local organisations like CINC and Meals on Wheels also updated us with services they were offering to people in need during this time."
