The Male Assessment Screening Talking Education Referral (MASTER) Program is being held in Cowra for Aboriginal men.

The program is aimed at improving the health of Aboriginal men by creating a more relaxed environment for men to get a health check and yarn about any health concerns.

Aboriginal Health Worker, Warren Williams, said, "This program is run by male Aboriginal Health Workers."

"It will be run over two days, on March 17 and 18 this year and we will be providing a number of different health services," Warren said.

"We will be offering blood pressure and blood glucose levels checks as well as other information".

"This is an opportunity for Aboriginal men to yarn to other Aboriginal men about their health in a supportive relaxed environment," he said.

Aboriginal men from across the Cowra region are being encouraged to attend this deadly and innovative program being held at the Cowra Golf Club from 9am to 5pm on March 17 and 9am to 12.30pm on March 18.
