It's an exclusive collection of 100-year-old Para Tawny created by Seppeltsfield Barossa - the first released in 1878.
Seppeltsfield Centennial Cellar custodian and a Baron of Barossa Fiona Donald said the addition to the new wine vault includes the recently released 1920 100-year-old.
The wine collection is a "time capsule" of Barossa wines that will be accessed by Barons of Barossa and the Barossa Grape and Wine Association for educational and promotional purposes.
So far, more than 2000 bottles of museum wines have been generously donated by Barossa wineries. The wine collection further includes up to 2000 dozen of Barons' bottled wine.
"This is a showpiece for guests to the region, containing some of the finest bottles ever made," the chief winemaker shared.
The 1920 was toasted in February as part of the 2020 Declaration of Vintage ceremony hosted by Barons of Barossa.
The tawny marks the 42nd consecutive release from the historic 1878 Centennial Cellar - seeing 100 summers and winters maturing in oak.
It continues the lineage of releases first conceived by Seppeltsfield Oscar Benno Seppelt in 1878.
With limited availability, the 1920 comes with a price tag of $2000 for a 375ml and $700 for 100mls.
Each bottle is carefully hand-filled, individually numbered and authenticated for collection purposes.
Bottles are beautifully presented in Jarrah hardwood boxes with personalised certificates enclosed.
Alongside the 1920 100-year-old is limited releases for each 'milestone' of 1930, 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970 and 1980.
