One of these months we will crack it for more pleasant temperatures and conditions - four months in a row is becoming a bit monotonous.
The program included the Central Tablelands Single Barrel Championship as well as the Jackpot Trophy Handicap event.
Even though the weather proved to be challenging yet again, 24 clay target shooters braved the conditions to compete in these events.
Matt Gerstenberg from Yass Gun Club took out the championship unchallenged with a score of 47/50.
David Hunter from Orange and Alan Drogemuller from Grenfell shot off for first and second in AA Grade while Bill Wilson from Canowindra with a score of 46/50 just pipped local shooter, Adam Boswell in A Grade.
Other local competitors to shine were Peter Mould in B Grade and Stuart Tydd in C Grade who edged out Jodie Dunn.
The Jackpot Trophy Handicap was one by Damian Burt with a score of 23/25 while Alan Drogemuller and Stuart Tydd shot off for second and third respectively.
The next monthly competition will take place on Saturday, March 7 commencing at 12 noon and this program will feature the Lachlan Valley 50 target Pointscore Championship.
