Prior to yesterday's Goulburn meeting McDonald's Dana Lodge had taken its season tally to 13 winners from 94 starters.
McDonald had a trailer load of entrants engaged at yesterday's meeting giving him a big chance to improve his season tally.
The kennel has also lead in 26 minor placegetters for a win strike rate of 13.8 per cent and place strike rate of 41.5 per cent.
Even more impressive is the strike rate of fellow Cowra mentor Paul Braddon who has lead in 10 winners from just 20 starters since the start of 2020.
The kennel's statistics get even more imposing when you take into account the six minor placings, giving Braddon a strike rate of 80 per cent, possibly the best in the country.
It's a percentage that continues on from the 2019 season when the Braddon kennel finished the season with a place strike rate of 70.7.
A similar result was returned in 2018 when the year ended with 71.6 per cent of the kennel's representatives picking up first, second or third prizemoney.
The kennel had Harper's Fury, Candy Willow, Flaming Fury, She's A Gem, Blazing Azzi and Willow Secret all accepted to go around at last night's Dubbo meeting.
At Young on Saturday night Dana Lodge will be represented by six starters as it attempts to improve further on this year's figures.
Dana JoJo and May's Rescue will jump from boxes 2 and 7 with Dana JoJo looking to improve on its debut second at Temora.
In the second Dana Hawk and Dana Sock will represent Dana Lodge from boxes 3 and 6.
Georgia's Rescue jumps from box 7 in the fifth event and Getalong Dana will come from the awkward box 5 in the sixth.
