With matches moved from Duntryleague over the weekend due to wild weather, games between Mudgee and Cowra and Dubbo and Forbes were moved to Parkes, while Bathurst notched up a victory over Parkes in Forbes.
Mudgee whacked Cowra 5-nil, with Patrick Edenborough and Jacob Moodie the only Cowra golfers able to make inroads in one and two hole losses respectively.
In constant rain all day we floundered at the top but came home with some great fighting results in the 3's and 4's.
In the 1s Michael Brooks went down 4/3, Mark Dixon went down 5/3, Pat Edenborough went down by one hole despite leading for a substantial time.
Rod McDonald was touched up 6/5 and Jacob Moodie our captain went down 2/1.
On a wet and windy day in Forbes Div 2 went down 5-0.
Captain Craig Jeffries couldn't find his groove going down 4/3, the people's champion got a late call up due to a nasty Brown incident and went down on the 18th, Wal Johnstone went down 2-1 in a long slow encounter, Paul Jones went down 6-4 and Howie went down on the 18th.
Division 3 scrapped it out for a terrific 3/2 win.
Geoff Wright played strongly for a 3/2 result, John Van Huizien struggled through to go down 3-2, Tinny Reid couldn't get going in the wet and also went down 3-2.
This left Captain Dave Thomas to right the ship and come home with a 4-2 win followed by the parking brake Jayden, smoking home in the best result of the day and a 5-4 win.
The mighty 4's debuted this week with Ticky Lee lowering the average of the team to 73.4.
Veterans David Gouge and Rocky Oliver were drafted into the team at a late selection meeting. Both acquitted themselves well with Rocky wearing down his opponent on the 21st hole.
David didn't bother with the showboating and put his bloke away 3-2, Ticky won by two holes, Warwick Spence went down 3-2 and Ed Anthony went down 2-1.
In other Division 1 results Bathurst nabbed its 4-1 win with relative ease, but four of the games were close towards the end.
David Clemens and Myles Smith took their match to the 19th hole while Reece Hodson and James Chapple only had one hole left when their matches were decided.
Aaron Wilkie nabbed Parkes' only victory, winning 2&1 over Robert Hey.
Forbes won a nail-biter over Dubbo, with only Chris Schubert winning comprehensively over Forbes' Peter Dawson.
Schubert's teammate Matt Gleeson won in the 21st hole, but Forbes' Daniel Bayley, Shane Sallaway and Steven Betland all had wins by slim margins - by one hole, at the 19th and two holes respectively.
The results leave Cowra without a win in Division 1s so far this season.
