The Cowra Hospital Auxiliary has been given a generous donation by Benedict Industries - Cowra Quartz to the tune of $2500.

Cowra Hospital Auxiliary Pat Smith said it was a wonderful donation.

"Cowra Hospital Auxiliary wish to thank Benedict Industries - Cowra Quartz for their wonderful donation to our organisation," she said.

"All our donations and fundraising activities are for vital medical equipment for Cowra Hospital to benefit all patients and to assist in their wellbeing.

"The Cowra community are the winners from the generousity of this donation."

The funding will be used to help purchase a Neuro Muscular Transmission Module, a machine which is used during operations requiring a general anaesthetic to accurately measure the patient's level of awareness and ensure they are deeply asleep.

Mrs Smith said the auxiliary were grateful for the continued support from the Cowra community.

"A special thank you to Michelle at the Cowra facility for her assistance in nomination us," she said.

"We are very lucky and grateful to have so much support from everyone, it is much appreciated."
