NSW Police rural crime officers said the offence occurred at a property on Cultowa Lane in Canowindra.
"The offence took place sometime between December 16 last year and January 17 this year," State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
"The following property was stolen during the incident: a blue and black portable 2000-watt Yamaha generator, red colour key start 6.5-Kilowatt generator, and a yellow colour Davey firefighting water pump.
"Home entertainment equipment including a video projector, projector screen, blue ray player, sound bar speaker system, subwoofer and cables."

Detective Inspector Whiteside has urged anyone who can assist to call Canowindra Police Station on 6344 1300 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
