Steffi will be remembered by many for her roles in Cowra M&D productions and for being a recipient of a Canberra Area Theatre Award.
Since leaving Cowra High School in 2013 with a brilliant HSC mark, Steffi gained early entry to study Law at ANU, Psychology at UNS and Theatre at UOW.
Naturally, and not unsurprisingly, Steffi chose to follow her love of theatre and take up the offer from UOW, where she immersed herself in her study and directing, as well as acting.
Her continued good marks propelled Steffi into the Bachelor of Creative Arts Honours degree.
Steffi became a Peer Assisted Study Sessions leader in 2018 and was granted her 1st Class Honours degree with the Deans Medal for Law, Humanities and the Arts.
Steffi is now studying a Master of Arts in Cultural Management and hopes to start a PhD in the near future.
She has recently been granted an overseas cultural to Chile to focus on Managing Innovation and in 2018 she spent three months on Youth Drama Scholarship in the UK.
This scholarship is awarded to an "extraordinary young professional who demonstrates, not only excellence in their skills but, also, ambition, industry leadership potential and a keen interest in giving back to their community and profession".
Her address on the night will be "All the Things I would Tell My High School Self" and will be a motivational as well interesting speech.
We are hopeful that many of the Years 11 and 12 students in Cowra and Canowindra will be able to attend to listen to this inspirational young woman who has received many awards in her life and is assured of many more in the future.
Her passion for her chosen career is obvious and is the reason for her great success to date.
The Barbara Wright Post Graduate Memorial Scholarship will also be presented on the night to a Central West student who has been accepted for post graduate studies.
The evening will commence at 6.30pm for 7pm dinner and the cost will be $50 with students being $25.
Two scholarship winners will be announced during the dinner and the GW NSW Central West branch is very appreciative of the Cowra Services Club for its support of the second scholarship.
If you wish to attend, please contact Sally Delaney on 0413 274 472 or email Sally on sallydelaney2009@gmail.com. by January 31st. All profit will be helping the Scholarships for the future.
