Monday, January 13
Tapua dog safety awareness training: Pauline Gill, owner and trainer of Tapua Labradors, will present basic dog training and a safety awareness workshop, accompanied by Labradors and puppies.
Tuesday, January 14
Football clinic with Caitlin: Caitlin will coach a football clinic for the duration of the morning. Please ensure your child attends wearing enclosed shoes, a hat and sun smart clothing. Sunscreen provided.
Wednesday, January 15
Bunnings ($8 additional activity cost): Children will relocate to Cowra Bunnings to engage in a DIY children's woodwork program. Children will construct and design an individual pencil box.
Thursday, January 16
Adventure Playground ($3 additional activity cost): PCYC will walk to the Nature Based Adventure Playground located at Bellevue Hill to explore the outdoor environment and conquer the climbing web. Please ensure your child attends wearing appropriate sun smart clothing, a hat, enclosed footwear along with a drink bottle and back pack. Sunscreen provided.
Friday, January 17
Laser tag: The PCYC is well known for their laser tag activity, only this time we are going to turn it up and design a camouflaged course to battle throughout the holidays. Please ensure your child attends wearing enclosed shoes, a hat and sun smart clothing. Sunscreen provided.
Monday, January 20
Science, technology, engineering and maths challenges: Children will be given tasks and provisions to conquer STEM challenges such as: The Egg Drop Challenge, Paper Rocket Launching Challenge and the Cup Tower Challenge
Tuesday, January 21
PCYC lip-synch battle: Battle it out solo or in a group - PCYC lip sync battle is based the show where celebrities battle each other with lip sync performances. So get creative and come prepared to take out the prize.
Wednesday, January 22
Zumba ($5 additional activity cost): Fitness instructor Danielle Waters will present the unique fitness program Zumba. Children will be encouraged to take their fitness to the next level in a fun and social setting while exploring diverse cultures and strengthening coordination and friendship.
Thursday, January 23
Macrame ($2 additional activity cost): Macrame workshop round 2. Belinda, local owner of "Loop to Loop" will make a return to teach the art of Macrame. The workshop demonstrates the unique art created by threading and knotting strong into decorative articles.
Friday, January 24
Chinese New Years: Children will celebrate Chinese New Year with craft activities, a movie and good. Yum Cha morning tea, dragon making and the movie, Kung Fu Panda.
Monday, January 27
Australia Day Public Holiday - PCYC closed
Tuesday, January 28
School prep and chill: Educators will promote healthy, easy lunchbox ideas that children will prepare and have the opportunity to sample. To assist families, children can take portions home in preparations for the week. Children have the opportunity to cover books, design and decorate identification labels, bag tags and individual timetable. Bring your favourite board game from home or iPad to chill with friends before the school term begins.
