The third annual Mid Lachlan Flock Ewe Competition will be held on Thursday, January 9 and Friday, January 10, showcasing the efforts of passionate sheep breeders across the region.

This year's competition will feature 12 entrants, including returning champions Melrose Pastoral.
This year's other entrants are:
- Clear Hills Pastoral - Andrew and Erin Green
- Nargong Partnership - Stephen and Alison Rutledge
- Boonderoo Partnership - Anthony, Ros and Charlie Dunhill
- MR and LA Johnston - Michael and Lynda Johnston
- Donna Valley Pastoral Company - Ken Skinner
- Doug Wright
- Jamie and Alisha Wright
- Baker Farming
- Leon, Margaret and Luke Cosgrove
- Nigel, Philip and Garry Dawe
- Lloyd and Tim Partridge
This year, three judges will be on hand to pick a winner:
- Will Roberts - Past President of the Australian Association of Stud Merino Breeders (AASMB) and served on the AASMB Council for 12 years.
- Cam Munro - General Manger of Egelabra Merino Stud and has judged in five states
- Mitchell Rubie - involved with junior judging, including at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Competed at the AWI National Merino Challenge
