Cowra Early Childhood Services Director Susan Callaghan said the team were grateful for the funds.
"It's great to be thought of within the community," she said.
"We're community based, so all of our funds go back into our service, having additional funds helps us do more things within our program."
The funds will go towards Carinya's continued learning into sustainable practices, such as purchasing vegetables for the children's vegetable garden and the installation of a water tank.
