Leila Martin of Falcon Street, Crows Nest, was before the court charged with hindering police in the execution of their duty.
According to police facts, around 12am on October 16, Martin was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for random testing.
The driver was arrested for a positive roadside drug test before Martin became highly agitated, yelling, crying and grabbing at the driver. She also begged the driver not to leave.
Police asked Martin to calm down but she refused saying, "don't you dare tell me to relax, you don't know what I'm going through ok".
Martin insisted on coming with the driver and continued to swear at police.

During a search of the driver Martin was asked to move back and told police to "make me". As the driver was taken to a police vehicle, Martin followed telling police she needed to speak to the driver.
She then rushed police with both arms outstretched and palms clenched. Police grabbed Martin who lashed out flailing her arms at police. She was then arrested.
Martin's solicitor Mr Johnson told the court his client did not have an extensive criminal history and the matters on her record all revolved around drugs.
He said his client had reached a stage in her life when enough was enough and enrolled herself in Weigelli.
"Given her history and age her prospects of rehabilitation are good and should be applauded," he said.
In sentencing Magistrate Micheal O'Brien said that any offence against police involved condign punishments.

However he noted Martin's circumstances, history and age saying Martin was a "young person with a whole life ahead of her".
"Start making good decisions, the first one to stop taking illicit drugs. It's not going to help anything," he said.
"I'm pleased to see you have engaged with Weigelli in order to take the first step."
