We will be having a meeting beforehand.

November meeting
At our November 8 meeting, members traveled over to Dawson Drive to the beautiful home and delightful gardens of Pam and Gary McKay.
For our meeting, morning tea was served in the garden and prepared by our members.
As it was spring racing carnival week, we were asked to wear a hat.
31 members attended and looked every bit like race goers, very eye catching!
Members wandered around the most beautiful gardens, which Gary prides himself in planning.
Pam, not to be outdone, has her own area of blooming roses, so easy on the eye.
As well as the gardens, many averies featuring some very colourful birds surround these areas.
Gary gave us an outline of his interest in developing his garden.
He joined the Cowra Garden Club in 1990 and gained many ideas which resulted in this magnificent garden.
Many years ago, the garden was open for raising money for the Royal Far West and other charities, as well as a tourist attraction.
Gary spends many hours each day in his garden.
President Fay presented both Gary and Pam with a gift for making us feel so welcome and opening their garden for our November meeting.
Merry Christmas
As this will be our last meeting, and my last report for the year, I take the opportunity, along with President Fay and the committee of the Cowra Ladies Probus club, in wishing our members a safe and happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year for 2020.
Our next meeting will be on February 14, 2020. Newly retired ladies are most welcome to join.
