The Cowra Blues are going to keep ploughing ahead as they get ready for 2020, but continue to remain on the look out for coaching candidates as vacancies remain.

While brother-sister duo Chris and Sarah Day will return to coach the senior women's side, there are several coaching roles that remain available across the club, including the senior men's role as well as other junior roles.
Chris Day, who is also president of the club, which successfully fielded a senior men's side for the first time since 2016 this year, said there is plenty to gain by taking on a role with the Blues.
"There's a bit of work involved, but overall it doesn't take up a great deal of your time during the week," he explained of the senior men's role.
"I've coached before and found it quite rewarding, just seeing the development we can get out of our young players.
"We are going to have a very young playing list again, similar to last year."
With the junior roles, Day emphasised similar focus points, though also noted there would be to opportunities to have "a bit of fun along the way", with an under 17s and youth girls' side both on the agenda again.
"We just need a bit of buy-in from a few parents," Day explained of the latter two teams.
"We believe if we have a coach for those grades to really push recruitment and that sort of stuff, we are very confident we can get teams up and going for both [of] those grades.
"But without a coach/manager sort of person in a role with those, it's going to be very difficult to chase those kids.
"They [the prospective coach] don't have to have a great background in the sport... The club and individuals in the club will definitely be around to guide them... It's just a matter of someone basically taking on the role to organise to chase up players for those grades."
Nevertheless, the club is full steam ahead otherwise, and is looking already to hold a Christmas party on December 15 at River Park to reconnect with club members as they seek to retain the numbers that helped make the season an on-field success for the juniors and successful in terms of participation for the seniors.
"We've locked in a few dates for events," Day explained, adding that the club is already looking matters such as sponsorship.
On the player front, Day was also excited about retaining some of the players who came on in leaps and bounds throughout the 2019 season.
"That's obviously the plan: To retain everyone we had and also recruit some other players to the sport," he said.
"Seeing the development of some of the younger men and the ladies, [I'm] pretty excited to see what another pre-season... can deliver on the field.
"Even though we didn't quite get the results we wanted last year, we were competitive... With a bit more experience under their belt, we're really looking forward to seeing how they go."
Day also added he was happy with make-up of the Blues' 2020 committee.
"We're really happy with the depth of numbers on the committee... [a few of] our women's players [are] involved this year which I think will give us some good new ideas and directions."
