The Valleys, who won by four wickets against the Bowling Club, will be travelling to Parkes this weekend against the reigning premiers, the Cambridge Cats.
Skipper Jacob McNaught will return, as will Ben Houghton, described as the Valleys' leading run-scorer and wicket-taker for the year by Garlick.
Houghton was also particuarly instrumental in the Valleys' come-from-behind victory against the Cats at Holman Oval earlier in the season, a game in which he was acting skipper in McNaught and Garlick's absence.
Nevertheless, Garlick, speaking immediately after last week's win, said the next couple of weeks would be crucial for his side.
"It's important now, to get another one or two before Christmas, so we're not chasing our tails [in the New Year]," Garlick, who was skipper in the 2018-19 season, said.
He also acknowledged the inclusion of Houghton and McNaught will help the team when they head to Woodward Oval, as will the confidence taken from last week's win.
"It'll be a difficult one, but you know, we get Jacob, we get Houghto back, hopefully we can roll on - a bit of momentum," he said.
The Cowra Bowling Club, who sit alongside the Valleys on two wins and three losses, have a bye this weekend.
