Only three brave souls today: Netta Noack and Pam Boler played against Helen Bryant. The former pair didn't have a very good day as their balls just seemed to go in the wrong direction all the time, no matter what the players had in mind.
On the other hand Helen could do no wrong as she scored her way happily around the court. Some of her efforts produced more than she expected, much to her delight. The final scores for the game were Helen 26, and Netta and Pam 10.

Marija Buturac and Ana Kusetic drew Rosalie Nichols and Alison Muggridge for a game of golf croquet. All started well and hoops were scored in quick succession, with good attacking moves and clever shot work. The first game was very even with Marija and Ana scoring the final hoops to win 7-5. Another shorter game was played and finished at five-all. Rosalie is learning very quickly and her judgement is also progressing well.
Pam Boler and Jenny Walker played association croquet against Netta Noack on the second court. Pam and Jenny found their game waxing and waning as they progressed around the court, while Netta's efforts were more sustained. She scored a number of good long roquets as well as hoops, which served her well and she went on to win 26-15.

Chris Palazzi and Ana Kusetic teamed up again against Jan Trengove and Helen Bryant. Right from the start, all players seemed to have an air of sharp wittedness as they planned and schemed to make the best of every opportunity to score; there were no dull spots either. Tactical moves were well played and although the final score was 26-19, the game was very even, with not a lot between each team.
Jenny Walker and Marija Buturac played a double side against Colleen Houghton. Lots of good hoops were scored, tempered with lots of careless mistakes, which led to Colleen winning 26-13. They all said it was great fun and that they all enjoyed the contest.
