Tidswell, who assumed the skipper role this year after the unexpected retirement of Josh Rainbow, was also recognised by his peers with the honour of Players' Player, acknowledging his outstanding individual effort.
Stacey Ashe received the equivalent award for her season in the league tag side.
Mid-season recruit Brydon Ramien received the senior men's coaches' award while Caitlin Boswell was recognised with the equivalent award for the women.
Departing talent was rewarded on the night, with Lee McClintock - off to Bathurst St. Pat's next year - named the most promising talent in the men's.
Meanwhile, young guns Noah Ryan and Josh Pokoney were named players' player and most promising player in the under 18s respectively.
There was plenty of recognition for behind the scenes work at the club with Barry Browne and Dick Brown receiving the Old Boys awards, while Bruce Wallace was named the Committee Person of the Year.
Recognition came from the other direction as well, with Casey Brien and Ben Gunn receiving the President's Award, Gunn also being named the Clubperson of the Year, while Ron Lawrence was also named the Quiet Achiever.
