The Cowra Cancer Action Group is gearing up for it's annual Christmas luncheon on Thursday, December 5 at 12 for 12.30 at the Cowra Services Club.

The popular event, which started in 2006, attracts hundreds of people each year and helps raise money for the group to support local cancer patients and Cowra Hospital's facilities.
The 2019 luncheon will be slightly different to previous years, with local artist Ann Morton set to sketch a portrait in oil live on stage.
A private portrait sitting with Ann will be auctioned off, as well a work by fellow artist Glenn Morton.
A painting by Joy Hanley, from the private collection of the late Margaret Bourke, will be a raffle prize.

Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.
