The team have a collection point for those wanting to donate items that will go towards hampers of food which will help out approximately 70 families in Cowra.
Branch manager, Fiona Chew said it was fantastic to be supporting a great cause.
"Westpac has supported the Salvation Army for years and we are really excited to be supporting them again," she said.
"We are hoping to build on what we have done previously and give back to the community and our customers."
Major Cathryn Williamson from the Cowra Salvation Army said last year around 25 hampers were made up by individuals and local businesses, as well as a number of donations to the cause.
To make it easier for those planning to put together a hamper this year, Major Williamson has provided a suggested weekly list of items to purchase.
"We've broken it down into weeks so that if people have a weekly budget and are able to spare probably between $8 and $10 a week to buy the items on the list, we've just broken it down to make it a little bit easier for those who shop weekly," she said.
"Whatever we don't use at Christmas we put in the cupboard and use it all year so there's the non-perishables, the canned food, soups are good for winter in Cowra, pasta and pasta sauce are always good, they're filling and easy to prepare."
