For their major art project this year, the residents have upcycled and yarn bombed an old bicycle, transforming it into a work of art.
Bilyara's Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, Vanessa Warren said it was a collective project for the residents.
"So we got a bike from the tip and we've upcycled it with pom-poms, croqueted squares," she said.
"Lots of residents got involved, helping to decide where to pop all the different pieces.
"A big thank you to Sean Darling, my assistant and Irene Marsh, who also worked tirelessly on this project and the main residents who contributed to this were June McIntyre, June Houghton, Mavis Norman, Marie Rudd, Meryl Russell and Christine Deck."
Ms Warren said she got the idea for the bike from Instagram and it took three months to complete.
It will be on display at the Council Chambers for a month.
"It was also a good social activity cause it brought the residents together," Ms Warren said.
"When it finishes staying here at the Council Chambers for a month, we're going to have it on display somewhere high in Bilyara so they can always look at it and see what they did."
Cowra Mayor, Councillor Bill West said it was a tremendous effort by the residents and the staff.
"I'm proud that Cowra Council could support this project in a small way," Cr West said.
