Members of the Woodstock CWA branch celebrated Christmas and their last meeting of the year with friends.

Woodstock CWA celebrated the end of their meeting year with friends from Cowra, Lyndhurst and Woodstock at our annual Christmas party.

After a very tasty savoury meal of finger foods, the ladies played Secret Santa with Maggie O'Toole calling the cards.

Dessert followed, then a series of Christmas questions and 'Did You Know' tidbits about the history and traditions of Christmas.

Everyone left with their gifts and an origami box holding gold Christmas coins, signifying the meaning of Boxing Day and St Nicholas's gifts to the poor.

So we come to the end of 2019, and have already begun to plan for our first meeting on February 18, 2020.

New members and visitors definitely welcome.

From the Woodstock CWA branch ladies, we wish you each and all, a blessed and wet Christmas.
