Don gave an informative talk about the different places that he worked, Wright Heaton, Western Stores, Myers and the Cannery.
He drove a taxi and had a school bus run, also bookmaking.

Club members would like to convey their condolences to the family of Peter Morehead (one of our members) who passed away.
Our guest speaker was Marc McLeish who gave an informative talk on his Kokoda track expedition.
He walked 102km over eight days, starting from Sogeri Plateau through Ua-Ulf creek valley, Brown River Valley, Bellamy River, Deniki and ending at Kokoda.
Along the way they encountered difficult terrain and saw interesting places, also meeting some very interesting people.
They were flown out of there back along the track.

Our Christmas Party is being held on December 10 at the Cowra Services Club at 12pm for 12.30pm.

45 people went on the cruise to Tasmania for seven days.
They visited Hobart, Port Arthur and cruised Wine Glass Bay.
Everyone had an enjoyable time.
