The bitch ran second in the Steeline Riverstone Maiden Final, finishing behind Rob Tyler's Zipping Brady, who Curtale predicted in pre-race press would be the likely favourite.
Nevertheless, it was Aristocrat who made the most of the early going, jumping out of the box to establish an early lead in the 535 metre race, getting out by 0.07 seconds at the first check point and holding first position after each of the first two in-running positions before dipping to third at the half way mark, John Callaughan's Memories One just shading her.
Nevertheless, she fought back in the race's second half, albeit with Zipping Brady claiming a comfortable victory - and the $10,000 - by five lengths (30.65s). Aristocrat beat out Memories One by one-and-a-half lengths to claim the second place (as well as $2500).
Aristocrat also featured amongst a contingent of locals racing at Bathurst on Monday night, lining up against Rod McDonald's Tony's Rescue in race five.
McDonald will also race with Dana Queen in race seven, while Paul Braddon's Arrie A Blaze and Rich History will both feature later in the evening.
McDonald had good results on Saturday at Young, winning with Hide the Kitty in race four; Take the Apache was runner-up in race six.
